Foodventure @ WTF (Wings+Flavour), Puerto Princesa City

It’s been so long since the last time we posted on our blog and we can’t wait to share our couple foodventures in Puerto Princesa City.

And though we have so much to share, we decided to start with one of the unli-chicken restaurants in the City… Wings + Flavour.

What we always looked for in our foodventures are the following categories:

delicious food that we could eat
best service and location
low prices that are definitely budget-friendly

Our review for W+F, however, is still an initial rating that we are more than happy to update when the time comes since we have only tried their unlimited CHICKEN.

We’re sure that we have limited our options with what we ordered, but please note that this review only covers their unlimited chicken menu.

Location

So, Wings + Flavour W+F is located at the intersection of the National Highway corner, Malvar Street, Puerto Princesa City. It’s very easy to find though parking can be a bit of trouble if you’re going out with a car or truck. The street’s pretty busy, especially during peak hours. But it’s not too much of a problem really.

Food Review

WTF offers a variety of eatables like fried chicken, pasta, ribs, seafood, and many more.

But as we said, we will be rating their unli-chicken menu today and here’s our takeaway.

We actually ordered their famous unlimited chicken wings with rice as it is one of our favorites and, of course, the main food WTF offers in their promotions.

It costs around Php270-280 depending on your order and they stay true to their ads, you get as many fried chickens as you want! If there’s one Filipino thing that we are proudly screaming out loud it is that we love unlimited anything, especially if it’s worth the shot.

This is the deal that we got with WTF.

Although we are truly loving their location and the ambiance in and out of the restaurant, we are a bit skeptical about the taste and servings of their special menu.

We’re not sure if it’s the breading or the sauce, but we think W+F can do better with the chicken. The taste is a bit weird and it’s not the good type of weird. We just hope it’s not something to do with the chicken itself and its age.

As Filipinos, we know a good chicken when we taste one. Sadly, with W+F, we didn’t get the best of their unlimited chicken wings because we didn’t even get to finish our first trays.

We are actually very ecstatic to try their unli-wings but our experience somehow didn’t match our level of excitement.

We are, however, more than willing to try it out again next time and check out more of their menus since a lot of their reviews are great and full of positive feedback.

Maybe we just got there at the wrong time or we have to try something that fits our palate.

BUT one thing is for sure, W+F can do better with their chicken considering it is one thing that they advertise so much when they opened in Puerto Princesa, and their business name promotes.

Regardless, our foodventure in W+F still holds a special place in our hearts since it was one of those dates when we get to talk to each other openly, a significant experience every couple should have.

Surely, the ambiance in the room helped a lot with our intimate experience and we are so grateful that W+F takes the time to consider their customer’s care. Love it so much!
