Our 2024 Adpentures

Hello, Friends!

Wow, I totally forgot I had this blog made before. LOL. It’s been so long since I’ve written here, and I simply don’t know where to begin.

Many things happened in our married life within the two years that passed. And a new addition to our family certainly made the joy and excitement so much better.

Here are a few things that I’d like to highlight from last year:

2024 Highlights

  • New Addition to the Family. As some of you already know, our family just got bigger with the new addition of our little baby, who, in my eyes, is the most perfect little boy in the world. And for now, my perfect excuse for not writing for more than a year on this blog. I’ll be sharing more of our experiences and stories as a new family of three in my upcoming blogs—stay tuned!
  • Home Projects. Between feedings and naps, I found small windows of time to pour love into our space with DIY home projects. From organizing little corners to setting family schedules, I cannot believe I was able to do some homemaking that made our house feel more like home. These little wins reminded me that even in chaos, a little creativity can bloom.
  • A Mom’s Life. Motherhood has been the most humbling and rewarding adventure of my life. I’ve learned to embrace the messy moments, find joy in the tiniest victories, and redefine what productivity looks like. But most importantly, I understood the love and sacrifice my mom made for me and my siblings. I’ll be writing more about this journey and what I’ve learned so far in the next few blog entries.

Life Help Items We Love

In preparation for the coming of our little bundle of joy, we were bombarded with recommendations from our family and friends of items that we need from his birth to the first 12 months. And no doubt, we were ready to try them all. And while we kind of busted our budget for a lot of them, I have no regrets! They certainly helped us provide the best of love and care to our little one. Now, as our little rascal has finally grown out of most of them, I find myself reminiscing about the wonderful memories of him using these items.

I won’t bore you for long. Here are some of the life help items we loved:

Bulb CCTV Camera

While other people are using baby monitors, we are one step ahead with CCTV cameras, so that we can check the recordings on our phones. This helps a lot with monitoring different rooms in the house and keeping things organized without adding too many devices at home.

JisuLife Portable Rechargeable Fan

While I know JisuLife was a trending hit in the Philippines, I have no doubt it was such a favorite, especially among moms. Imagine having so much confidence with your portable fan because you knew its battery life was really long. That’s how I feel with the fan.

Camping Table and Chair Set

When going out camping, I’m sure your purchase will not be put to waste, as this camping set was a game-changer for family camps. My biggest advice: GET THIS NOW! You need a good relaxation without the worry of where to sit.

I also have a lot more that I can share with you that would probably make this post a lot longer than it should be, so I’ve decided to add a new page dedicated just for that. You can view all the life help items here.

As I look back on everything this year has brought—both the big moments and the quiet, in-between ones—I’m filled with gratitude. It wasn’t always easy, but it was full of growth, love, and lessons I’ll carry with me. I’m excited for what’s ahead, and I hope you’ll join me as I continue to share more stories, experiences, and little glimpses of life in the coming months. Here’s to embracing the journey, one chapter at a time.
