On our first week of December 2021, we had the privilege to go on a short trip with our fellow Young Single Adults in the Ward for a Christmas Party on the beach.
And our choice of venue is the Tagkawayan Glamping Inn Facility at Sitio Tagkawayan, Brgy. Bacungan, Puerto Princesa City.
For every review of our visits, we always look for three (3) important things as a standard:
- amazing location and services
- best customer service
- cheap prices that are definitely budget-friendly.
And as you can see, our Travel Adventure in here is an all three treat!
This resort is nicely cheap and can accommodate any choice of stay, be it a budget-friendly accommodation or a more expensive-but-worth-the-money option.
Our choice, of course, was to rent a cottage to place our packed food and bags which was only P300 each. There’s no entrance fee too (lucky us), and since there were a lot of us at the party, we only have to pay for the 2 cottages and a table that we rented and used a grill as part of the payment. That’s also one thing that we really loved about the place and you should probably too…So, if you have plans to visit this amazing beach and wanted to bring your own food, make sure to go straight to TGIF.
But the real treat about TGIF is their Glamping Site where you can enjoy your camp at the beach with your friends and/or family in a glamorous way.
Although we didn’t have the chance to stay over for the night and see what it’ll be like to be there in person, we would be more than happy to try it out next time.
BUT staying only for the day doesn’t mean you’re missing out on the fun!
TGIF is actually perfect for beach games and team-building activities. It’s wide and has a large space for any activity. The YSAs had a great time playing games and getting to know each other, and we’re so lucky to find a place that fits our goals for the program.
The location is also picturesque and Instagramable on any angle so you can find any spot for photos at any time of the day.
Location
TGIF Glamping Resort is actually super easy to find though the location is pretty far for a trip. It is located in Brgy. Bacungan, just a few miles from the national highway. Travel is 58 minutes from the City and half an hour from the Yamang Bukid Farm that you will definitely pass by on the way.
The terrain is much easier to pass through since the road had been cemented years ago and you can have a nice stop-over for pictures if you like.

Couple Adventure
