Pizza is a food favorite for almost everyone even for Palaweños. And here in Puerto Princesa, this circle-in-a-box meal can be seen anywhere. Since Gerson and I love eating delicious food at the best and cheapest places we could find (even for a pizza), we had to visit one of the popular locations we could find, Neva’s Place. And, of course, when we visit and eat, three (3) important things always go into our standard:
- delicious food we could eat
- best service and location
- cheap prices that are definitely budget-friendly.
And as you can see, our Foodventure with Neva’s Place is an amazingly high rating for all three!
Our Food Experience
So, our Foodventure here happened twice. One, during our date with our dear friend, Hazel, and the other with my side of the family.
We got to order different things but our favorite, of course, is their pizza menu.
One thing you have to know about pizzas here in Palawan is they’re pretty small in serving most of the time. That’s what we also thought about Neva’s Place especially with their “Kuripot” size. (“kuripot” means “cheap”) But it turns out, they’re actually large enough for a serving for 4. And on our first try, we had more than we could eat since I ordered two servings. But that’s what makes the place amazingly cheap and worth every penny.
They’re very tasty and you can pair them with anything on their solo meals up to the beverages. For us, we have tried the chicken and pasta meal and the braised pork with rice meal on our two visits. And they’re hands down a perfectly great treat!

Like any other place, Neva’s Place has a great team in their kitchen. People are polite and sweet and don’t take too much of your time. They are happy to recommend special menus and give you the best service you could have.

Neva’s Place is super easy to find and at a perfectly serene location. It’s near Roxas Road just right Taft Street where it’s not noisy and still right about the highway. Since it’s also a known place, you can easily grab a cab or tricycle and go there.
