If you’re going to ask us which of our foodventures is our favorite…then we’re gonna tell you right away–SWAG Restaurant! And here are the reasons why.

Eating out can be as easy as a peach. And here are 3 main things that we always consider when picking out a good place to eat:

• delicious food that we could eat
• best service and location
• cheap prices that are definitely budget-friendly

Our Food Experience

It’s deliciously perfect!

That’s right! We are telling you straight away…their meals are really good. Our friends, Paul and Hazel, actually recommended this place. And now, we could easily recommend it to others too. The fact that our friends recommended it to us first means we’re being honest here. (thanks, guys!) Honestly, there is one particular meal that became our ultimate favorites and we don’t know how long we would be ordering the same over and over again every time we visit. And that’s what we will be focusing on in this article…and here it is.

Roasted Pork Liempo and Plain Rice with Mango Shake.

When it comes to the pork ribs, all we can say is that it’s super juicy and flavorful. The mango shake is actually another order but we always order them together since the flavors mesh so well. But, the pork ribs alone gives out that perfect roasted meal that Palawenos really love.

The meat is very tender and easy to chew and we think toddlers can have an easy bite with it and have absolutely no problem enjoying the meal with the adults. Plus, it only costs Php89.00 and another Php70.00 for the mango shake…so family get-togethers is not out of the question when talking about what fits the place well.

Another great thing about it is that you have a lot of options in the menu that you could choose from, and they are all very cheap and budget-friendly. Hot meals are super good and pairs perfectly with their Php10.00 lumpia side dish. But if you’re in for a quick visit, you can also pick their cold sides and shakes.

Services

Their staff are really great too all throughout your visit, which is one of the most crucial things that makes the business going and in the customer’s point of view, for a better experience while having your meal in a public place. Maybe that’s why we keep on coming back every chance we got. Genuine smiles and happy welcomes up to the pleasant goodbyes, we’d say they get a high 5 for their services.

Location

We actually lost count of how many times we went there for lunch and dinner but even though it’s a bit far from our workplace, it’s all worth the travel.

SWAG Restaurant is located at the National Highway, Brgy. San Jose near the Petron Gas Station. It’s a small wooden cabin with around 10 tables and kinda looks like a fancy carinderia at first. And though it’s really not, I think that’s what makes the inside all nice and comfy…which I think is the best vibe and ambiance you could get.

Oh, and another thing…there are a lot of customers in and out so I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a bit hard to get in when the pandemic ends. For now, we get to enjoy the limited number of people inside…even though we only have 30 minutes to eat our meal, as part of the precautionary measures required by the City.

So, anyway…hope you guys visit this place sooner or later. It’s a great find that you should not pass by. Coz you know, it’s on the highway and vehicles drove past the restaurant…okay.
